Good day fellow vending enthusiast, I wanted to use this weeks E-Thought to talk to you guys about an Organization that I believe to be as important and useful as any other out there today. SMMR (Sgt.McDowell's Military Relief Fund) of Oregon. This organization provides assistance to any honorably service connected Veteran. They provide assistance everywhere from helping veterans move to taking them on medical appointments. Sgt.McDowell(Tony) is a 20+ year Navy and Army Veteran and also a Veteran of the Vending Industry. With more and more injured Veterans returning home these days, these types of organizations are being stretched and used to their limits. Vend Northwest contributes food products to the SMMR in hopes to relieve some of the growing pressures felt by Tony and his organization in continuing to help and provide a much needed outlet for these Veterans. So I just wanted to say to Tony "THANK YOU" for your tireless support of our brethren!! Remember "Freedom is not Free" and the men and women that fight everyday so that we may continue to live our lives how we are accustomed to deserve all the support and comfort that we can give.
