E-THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY JULY 16 2009

Good Day fellow Vending enthusiast. How much would you invest in your own future? How much would you spend to know you will be secure in your old age? Do you have a limit? Asking yourselves these questions will help you to determine just that, am I a viable asset to my company? Do I stand out above these other yahoo's who want my job? What can I do to help control my own destiny? I ask myself these questions everyday, from the time I wake up until the time that my head hits the pillow. The economy is tough so it's not the time to be "sitting" back and "resting" on your laurels. A good way to become a value to your company and your customers is to be "Authentic", present a real world, relatable, and most of all a transferable message! You must be confident in yourself so that what your are saying (to your company/customer) isn't just some memorized crap. Be honorable through your actions AND your kept promises. Take responsibility for your actions, don't be afraid to admit that you screwed up(your company/customer) will be much more willing to give you a second chance to hang yourself if they feel that you truly are authentic in your remorcefulness about your mistake. Be FUNNY, some of you may not agree with this one but I would say the funnier you are the closer people will listen to you and the more engaged they will become. None of this will help you become more Authentic if you do not absolutely LOVE what you do! If you are just "biding" time in a job, or customer for that matter, if you do not love that job or truly care about your customers prosperity, you will NEVER be successful at what you do. Sure you may have some "short term" gains but the cost of those gains will far outweigh the benefits you will reap from being Authentic and Loving what you do!! I LOVE YOU ALL. :)

Regards
